What is the Universal Tower Defense Traits Tier List?
The Universal Tower Defense Traits Tier List is a comprehensive guide ranking all passive abilities (Traits) available in the game. In UTD, Traits are permanent buffs you can roll onto your units to enhance their stats like Damage, Range, and Cooldown.
Our rankings are based on two primary factors: Stat Multipliers and Roll Rarity. We categorize them into tiers to help you decide which traits are worth your precious Reroll Stones.
- S+ (Godly): Traits like Ruler (0.1%) that offer massive, game-changing buffs (e.g., +200% Damage). Always keep these.
- S (Mythic): Traits like Sacred or Astral. Excellent all-around stat boosts that work on almost any unit.
- A (Legendary): Specialized traits like Sniper (+Range) or Swift (-Cooldown). Great for specific unit roles.
- B/C (Common): Traits with low stat boosts. These are generally considered "trash" traits and should be rerolled immediately.
How to use Universal Tower Defense Traits Tier List?
Rerolling traits can be expensive. Use this tier list to manage your economy and build stronger teams:

"A Legendary unit with a Godly trait is stronger than a Secret unit with no trait. Master the reroll system to dominate the leaderboards."
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this Traits List updated?
Yes, we update this list whenever developers change trait stats or add new ones (like in Update 5). The Roll Chances listed are pulled directly from the official game data.
Does 'Ruler' stack?
No. Most Godly traits like Ruler have a "1 Placement Limit" restriction, meaning you can only place one unit with that trait on the field at a time.
How do I get more Reroll Stones?
You can earn Reroll Stones by completing daily quests, playing Infinite Mode, or redeeming the latest UTD Codes.
Is 'Godly' better than 'Mythic'?
In 99% of cases, yes. Godly traits (0.1% chance) offer significantly higher stat multipliers (e.g., +200% Dmg) compared to Mythic traits (+50% Dmg). They are the endgame goal.
