Game Modes Overview

There are three modes available in Universal Tower Defense: Story Mode, Challenges, and Virtual Realm.

How to Enter:

Click the Expand button on the left sidebar.
Click Play to enter the Lobby.
Run to one of the 3 Aisles (Story, Challenge, or VR).
Enter a door to Create or Join a match.

Story

Challenge

Virtual Realm

Story Mode

Story Mode is where you will spend most of your time when you first start playing. It is the main way to progress and unlock new content.

Difficulty: Easy (50%), Hard (100%), Nightmare.
Rewards: Gems, Gold, and Body Relics (Shirts/Pants).

Challenges

In Challenges mode, you can farm essential upgrade materials like Evolution Fragments and Reroll Tokens. Each challenge has different reset times.

Active Challenges

Featured Challenge

This is a featured challenge also know as the hunt, there is only 1 Act.

Special Event

Half Hourly

This Challenge you can do every 30 minutes, there are 3 Acts.

Resets 30m

Daily

This Challenge you can do daily, there is only one Act.

Resets 24h

Virtual Realm

The endgame mode. Focuses on dropping specific Head Slot Relics (Hats & Accessories). It is much harder than story mode and requires a well-built team.

This is the only way to obtain Head Relics.
